He's very intelligent and educated, but he's not a good story-teller. The interviewer gave him a few chances to really talk about interesting things, and he just can't follow his train of thought, or expand on his ideas. I wanted to hear more about how miserable life was in antiquity, and he only mentions that 1/3 of women died in childbirth and maybe one other thing. That's something that a good story-teller could have talked about lots of interesting things that we don't really know about today. It would be great if he could provide more detail and be more direct in his explanations, but he doesn't for most of the interview.
